Joan Hutton

Joan Hutton received a Bachelor's degree in music education and performance from Ithaca College, where she studied with Steven Mauk, and a Master of Music degree in saxophone performance from the Eastman School of Music, studying with Ramon Ricker. She currently lives in Minneapolis, where she has a large studio of saxophone and clarinet students and performs with the jazz-funk band Rare Medium. Her newest group, the Joan Hutton Jazz Project, was formed in early 2017 to feature her original compositions. Learn more about Joan Hutton.
