A dynamic artist teacher, Cecilia Kang is internationally active as a concert clarinetist and a master class clinician. She has collaborated with the St. Lawrence String Quartet, the Copeland String Quartet, and members of the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Danish Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the Jeonju Wind Orchestra, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. She has appeared at Thy Chamber Music Festival (Denmark), IMPULS Contemporary Music Festival (Austria), Castleton Festival (USA), Collingwood Music Festival (Canada), the International Clarinet and Saxophone Festival (China) and ClarinetFest.

Dr. Kang currently serves as the Assistant Professor of Clarinet at Furman University in South Carolina. Previously, she held teaching positions at North Dakota State University, Concordia University, Luzerne Music Center and Bay View Music Festival. She obtained degrees from the University of Michigan, the University of Southern California, and the University of Toronto.
