Jay Mason

Jay Mason got his start at California State University, where he was a member of the school’s top-rated wind ensemble, jazz ensemble and orchestra. His performance credits include appearances with The Rockettes, Barry White, The Temptations, The Four Tops, and many more. Mason is now a member of Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, and also appears regularly with many other bands and plays in the Southern California musical theatre scene.
Mason is active in music education, serving on the faculties of CSU Long Beach and Concordia University-Irvine, and is a sought after clinician, judge, and masterclass presenter.
