New York City based Musician, Composer and Educator Roxy Coss has become one of the most unique and innovative voices of her generation. She is currently a member of the Jeremy Pelt Show, and is also a member of the all-female big band DIVA. As the leader of the Roxy Coss Quintet, she performs in various NYC venues. A native of Seattle, WA, Coss attended William Paterson University in NJ on a full Presidential Scholarship, where she studied with Clark Terry, Harold Mabern, Mulgrew Miller, Gary Smulyan, and Rich Perry, among others. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008 with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Studies/Performance.

Since moving to New York, Roxy has had the opportunity to perform with Clark Terry as a member of the Clark Terry Big Band, Louis Hayes, the Claudio Roditi Big Band, and Grassella Oliphant. She has also performed around the world in places such as Spain, Denmark, Italy, Germany, France, Malta, Scotland, and Switzerland.

In 2010, Coss released her debut CD, Roxy Coss, featuring all original material. The album was met with high acclaim, and charted on both the Jazzweek and CMJ Jazz Charts for 12 consecutive weeks. Her 2017 album, Chasing the Unicorn, made the "Best of 2017" lists in Downbeat, Somethin' Else Reviews, and Ken Franckling's Jazz Notes. Her most recent album, The Future is Female, was released in March 2018.
