History

The first Vandoren reed was made in 1905 by Eugène Van Doren. Since then, the Van Doren company is a four-generation family-owned business that continues to make products for every musician.


The Sound Concept

Traditional reeds are suited for all styles of music. With a smooth, classic sound, these reeds are available for every instrument in the clarinet and saxophone families.

What Instruments?

Traditional reeds are made for Ab piccolo, Eb, Bb, Bass and Contrabass clarinets. On the saxophone side, Traditional reeds are available for sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, bari, and bass saxophones.
