Vandoren Shines at ICA ClarinetFest 2017

The 2017 International Clarinet Association’s ClarinetFest, hosted at the DoubleTree Hotel in Orlando, was the largest in over 25 years. With new products being launched, dealer promotions in full swing, and an overwhelming artist presence, the event was hugely successful for Vandoren.
Vandoren launched several new products at the show including BD5 mouthpieces for Eb Clarinet and Alto Clarinet/Basset Horn, German V21 reeds, and the BD5D mouthpiece which is designed to fit both German and Boehm system clarinets. New products aside, the original BD5 mouthpieces for Bb clarinet continued to gather the most attention and praise from both American and European players almost three years after its release.
Evening concerts featured renowned Vandoren Artists Julian Bliss, Nicolas Baldeyrou, Alex Fiterstein, Anna Hashimoto, and Eddie Daniels. In total, over 25 Vandoren Artists performed throughout the convention.
“This was an outstanding show for us in every way,” said Brand Manager, Michael Fenoglio. “New product launches, dealer sales, social media buzz, artist appearances – all those things came together to make this one of our most successful ClarinetFests yet.”
